Please note that the Hong Kong Heraldry Society is not a heraldic authority and has never claimed to hold such status.
Numerous private establishment assert that they are entitled to grant coats of arms or offer related services. The Hong Kong Heraldry Society explicitly disclaims any such role. While we are pleased to provide assistance in various capacities—such as offering guidance in relation to the grant of arms, historical research, or educational resources—the Society itself does not grant arms or assume any authority to do so.
The Hong Kong Heraldry Society accepts requests for advisory services concerning heraldic matters from organisations and individuals.
The Society considers each case on its merits; charges are determined on an individual basis. The services provided by the Society are limited to consultation and related professional advice and do not include any functions relating to the granting, registration, or administration of arms. The Society is not the heraldic authority for any jurisdiction and does not issue certificates of arms or Grants of Arms.
Should you wish to seek formal Grants of Arms for armorial bearings from any heraldic authority, the Society strongly recommends contacting that body directly as their service typically encompass professional advice. (unless seeking Grants/Registration of Arms from authority operates with a 'registration' basis(e.g., Slovakia) or a de facto registration system (e.g., Kenya).
Should you require further information or have additional enquiries, please consult the 'Contact Us' section of this website to get in touch with the Society.
